Sri Lankaâ economy contracts by 1.6 percent in the 1st quarter of 2022
June 28, Colombo: Sri Lankaâs economic output as measured by Gross Domestic Product (GDP) for the 1st quarter from January 1st to March 31st of 2022 has been estimated as negative 1.6 percent indicating a considerable contraction of the economy compared to the first quarter of 2021.
